Oral Hygiene

Good oral hygiene is always important, even those moments where you may be so tempted to neglect your teeth in favour of just popping a stick of gum or a refreshing mint. But brushing and flossing are about so much more than just fresh breath—oral health is said to be indicative of your overall health and ignoring what goes on in your mouth can lead to a whole host of dental and other issues. While some people may not think of toothpaste, mouthwash and floss being vegan, when you think about it, you technically even kind of consume these things on a daily basis. And most mainstream versions, unfortunately, contain animal by-products. Another matter to note is the serious waste that plastic toothbrushes produce. Well, hello new world! Enter upcycling and eco-friendly alternatives...
